How do aqualyx fat dissolving injections work?
Working out is great for reducing fatty material but getting rid of stubborn body fat is something really hard. Researchers have been approved these injections containing a compound called deoxycholic acid (bile acid) that essentially absorbs fat and pass it through the kidney naturally. Aqualyx is a safe and effective injectable treatment that targets stubborn pockets of fat by dissolving membranes of fat cells in the treated area. Under this less invasive technique, fat cells become unstable and break open. Areas that can be treated are double chin, saddle-bags, abdomen, jowls, upper arms, inner thighs, and cankles. Until you maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle, eliminated deposition won’t come back.
How is the treatment delivered?
Taking a thorough medical history is really important. The doctor will examine you and make sure that you are an ideal candidate for aqualyx injections. He will look if there is any contradiction to the treatment. Benefits and all the possible after effects will be informed to you during an initial consultation. After that, you will be provided a few days or weeks for considering the treatment before it is performed. And yes, obviously it is a best practice!
How does Aqualyx work?
An aqueous solution composed of bile acid is injected into the area of treatment that plays role in altering the surface tension of the fat cell membrane and increases permeability. In addition, an ultrasound device emitting radiations of specific frequency is applied over to cause movement of liquids inside and outside the fat cells. These cells swell up and then break up leading to the drainage of droplets of fatty liquid. The resulting material is further metabolized into the lymphatic system and is excreted through the excretory system. Procedure time varies depending on the size of the targeted area. For best results, 3-8 sittings will be required each scheduled 4 weeks apart.
